VISUALS REMIND YOUR PARTICIPANTS THAT THEIR INPUT MATTERS.
Participants at this roundtable explored some of the critical questions and concerns facing Educators and Students in the Cache Creek area. Bringing Graphic Recording to the event ensured that people felt heard, acknowledged and understood. Graphic recording is about listening and capturing the energy as well as the words and images. Long after an event is over, the recordings can bring the experience to mind and provide opportunities for reflection or further discussion.
Having the conversation matters. Bringing the community together matters. And capturing their opinions live and large via graphic recording lets the community know that they’ve been seen, heard and acknowledged. Because a recorder is a scribe, nothing is lost or ignored or left out, paraphrased or interpreted. The recording is a collection of what actually happened in the meeting, including the conversation, energy, conflicts and idea generation.
